Abstract
Thylakoid membranes isolated from the cyanobacterium Synechocystis sp. strain PCC6803 were capable of desaturating the acyl groups in monogalactosyl diacylglycerol. This desaturation reaction required the reduced form of ferredoxin. Keywords
