Abstract
A particle scattering medium is more easily penetrated by the longer wavelengths of radiation than by the shorter ones. An image converter tube which can transform an invisible image in the infra-red region of the spectrum into a visible image on the fluorescent screen is used in conjunction with a low power microscope. This allows an improved visibility through certain types of corneal opacity and cataract. Keywords
