Abstract
A case of delayed spontaneous rupture of an ileocolonic neobladder and subsequent peritonitis 4 years after the initial operation is reported. Many of the features of this case are similar to those noted in recent reports of spontaneous rupture of an augmented bladder and it is postulated that the etiology is the same. Keywords
