Abstract
A case was reported of a 76-year-old man whose clinical picture strongly indicated acute pulmonary embolism. A venous angiocardiogram, performed as an emergency confirmed bilateral, central pulmonary emboli. Successful removal was performed under cardiopulmonary bypass, but the patient failed to survive. Keywords
