Abstract
In Paper I an 800 km s−1 wide component on the [Ne v] 3426 Å line from the core of NGC 6302 was reported. Here the motions and densities of the outer filamentary regions of the nebula are considered. Many separate volumes of ionized material with heliocentric radial velocities between − 186 and + 140 km s−1 have been discovered. Wind driven flows of radiatively ionized material are proposed to explain these phenomena. Keywords
