Abstract
A naturally occurring macroscopic sodium vermiculite from Unst, Shetland is described. It is similar in many respects to synthetic materials recently prepared from phlogopite by potassium replacement. In other respects, however, it is more akin to macroscopic Mg-vermiculites.Keywords
