Abstract
A systematic study of screening doublets in X-ray satellite (nondiagram lines) spectra is made. Many new screening doublets are reported for the first time. The screening doublets already reported in the literature are confirmed and finally established. A consolidated report of screening doublets is given from 1931 to the present time. Keywords
