Abstract
The electrochemical oxidation of 4-methyl-, 5-phenyl-, and 4-hydroxymethyl-4-methyl-1-phenylpyrazolidin-3-one in acetonitrile has been studied. All three systems behave in a manner similar to that of the parent 1-phenylpyrazolidin-3-one, the major reaction pathway involving formation of a 1-phenylpyrazolin-3-one.Keywords
