Abstract
39‐S, 29‐S and 18‐S nuclear rRNA precursors of Tetrahymena pyriformis have been characterized by acrylamide gel electrophoresis. Evidence is presented for the presence of high‐molecular‐weight non‐methylated RNA species (28 – 39 S, Mr range 1.9 – 2.7 × 106) in the cytoplasm of this protozoa. Keywords
