Abstract
The fibroinogen synthesized by the posterior division of the silk gland moves along the middle division until, at the end of the 5th instar, the different portions synthetized at different periods are disposed in reservoirs in the order of this succession, which, when the silkworm spins its cocoon, also appears in the fibroin of the silk thread. Keywords
