Behandlung chorioidaler Vasospasmen mit Kalziumantagonisten*

Abstract
Fünfzehn Augen von 15 Patienten mit vasospastischem Syndrom wurden mit Nifedipin, einem Kalziumantagonisten, behandelt. Eine Kontrollgruppe bestand aus 9 Augen von 9 Patienten mit Low-Tension-Glaukom, aber ohne Anzeichen von Vasospasmus. Eine halbe Stunde nach Applikation von 20 mg Nifedipin per os war das Gesichtsfeld bei den Patienten mit Vasospasmen deutlich und statistisch signifikant verbessert. Die Kontrollgruppe zeigte eine leichte, aber statistisch nicht signifikante Tendenz in Richtung einer Verbesserung. 10 Patienten der Gruppe mit Vasospasmus wurden anschließend während zwei Monaten mit zweimal täglich 20 mg Nifedipin behandelt. Diese Patienten zeigten über diese zwei Monate einen Trend zur weiteren leichten Verbesserung. Fifteen eyes of 15 patients with a vasospastic syndrome were treated with nifedipine, a calcium antagonist. The control group consisted of 9 eyes of 9 patients with lowtension glaucoma but without signs of vasospasm. Half a hour after application of 20 mg nifedipine per os the visual fields of the patients with vasospastic syndrome were markedly and statistically significantly improved. The control group showed a slight but statistically not significant tendency toward improvement. Ten eyes of the group with vasospasm were then treated over two months with twice 20 mg nifedipine. These patients showed a further slight improvement.
