Abstract
Trophozoites of E. histolytica from cultures or in fresh faeces or in faeces preserved in PVA can be stained specifically by the indirect immunofluorescent technique. This provides an objective method of identification of trophozoites of E. histolytica and makes the scanning of faecal smears quicker and more accurate. Keywords
