Abstract
Vomiting initiated by digitoxin was not abolished by removal of the carotid bodies and sinuses in 7 dogs. Six of these dogs survived sectioning of one vagus trunk (in the neck region) and 2 survived sectioning of both vagi without change in the vomiting response.Keywords
