Abstract
Influenza poses a continuing threat to humankind. Existing influenza vaccines are most beneficial to those with chronic medical conditions, and although they reduce influenza infections and complications, the protection offered is incomplete and the vaccine is under-utilized. The available data support a greater utilization of vaccine and new vaccine developments.Keywords
