Abstract
1. A surgical technique is described which enables biliary excretion studies to be performed in conscious unrestrained rats. 2. Bile is continuously collected in a glass vessel implanted into the peritoneal cavity. 3. Assessment of enterohepatic circulation is made by a modification of the technique. 4. The application of these techniques to both metabolic and pharmacokinetic studies is described briefly. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
