Abstract
The influence of water immersion and acid etching on the bonding of methyl, ethyl, a thickened ethyl, and isobutyl 2-cyanoacrylates to human enamel and dentin was studied. In general, the ethyl and isobutyl homologues gave the strongest, most durable bonds. Adhesion to dentin is probably the result of chemical combination. Keywords
