Abstract
A considerable enhancement of beryllium self-diffusion rates in irradiated polycrystalline beryllium oxide has been observed which is strongly time-dependent above 800°C. Amongst the possible mechanisms, increased point defect concentrations and long-range disorder due to lattice expansion could account for the observed enhancement.Keywords
