Abstract
A single exposure point-to-plane spectrographic procedure has been developed for the analysis of a nickel-base high-temperature alloy, GMR-235. Analytical curves have been established for the major constituents, Cr, Fe, Mo, Al, and T1, and the minor elements, Mn, S1, and B. High repeatability and minimum matrix effects were obtained through the use of nitrogen in the analytical gap and through a careful choice of line pairs. Effects of source conditions, electrode shape, and atmosphere on the preburn were investigatedKeywords
