Sclerosing Stromal Tumor of the Ovary

Abstract
The clinical and pathological features of three cases of sclerosing stromal tumors are presented. Two of these were discovered during pregnancy. Two occurred as unilocular cysts. Ligandin, probable indication of steroidogenesis in the gonad, was demonstrated by immunohistochemistry in all cases, supporting the suggestion that these tumors have an endocrine potential.
