Abstract
Using theoretical calculations to generate Lyman β and δ Stark-broadened line profiles, we have found a simple parameterization of the line intensity full width at half maximum over a broad range of the atomic species [Z∈(6,18)], electron density [NE∈(1019,1025) cm−3], and electron temperature (TE=250,500,1000 eV). The parameters of the fits are presented together with a discussion of the method. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
