Abstract
Statistically significant variations in erythrocytes and Hb occurred both in control periods and in control subjects as well as during and following the feeding of fetal calf liver, desiccated stomach tissue and liver extract to 18 normal and 2 slightly anemic students. Withdrawal of the fetal liver resulted in a fall of erythrocytes below control value. Liver tissue from fetuses under 76 cm. in length shows about 20 times the Cu content of adult beef liver. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
