Abstract
Arguments presented by the “endogenist” and the “exogenist” regarding the well known rhythmic patterns in biological systems have in the long run complimented each other in their efforts to establish the underlying nature of this most fundamental phenomenon. Material is presented from the standpoint of the geophysicist, rather than the biologist, in an effort to familiarize the life scientist with some of the physical parameters which appear to bear marked causal relationship to temporal oriented organic behavior. Among the parameters considered are solar activity, geomagnetism, telluric current, tidal gravity, and cosmic radiation. Keywords
