Thrombosis of the longitudinal sinus

Abstract
Three cases are presented of patients who died as a result of thrombosis of the dural sinuses and of the cortical tributary veins. The clinical course varied considerably and included severe headaches, psychic disturbances, paralyses, convulsions, and bloody cerebrospinal fluid. The findings in cerebral angiography are reviewed, and the diagnostic importance of characteristic anomalies of the venous phase are emphasized.
