Abstract
We use a mathematical method to derive a one-dimensional model for particle transport in a pipe with reflecting walls. For the case of an evacuated pipe with particular reflecting boundary conditions for the walls, our model reduces to results obtained previously by Prinja and Pomraning. Keywords
