Abstract
The radiative decays of the charged and neutral meson are discussed assuming that the decay vertices are dominated by the low-mass and intermediate states. The transitions , , , and are considered in detail. The probability for the emission of a photon with energy exceeding 15 MeV in the process relative to the decay is found to be 1.7×, indicating that the () decay width is comparable or greater than the () one. The internal bremsstrahlung and direct emission processes are included in the calculation of the various partial widths.
