Abstract
In part 1 of this paper (Putman and Ducca, 1978) we described a method for calibrating urban residential models in the absence of trip-interchange data (that is, the ‘trip matrix’). In part 2 we describe the empirical results of applying this method to a number of different urban areas. The results obtained are quite consistent both with theoretical expectations and from one area to another. Keywords
