Abstract
Parathion sprays tested in the San Francisco Bay region were effective for control of the cyclamen mite, spider mites, thrips, aphids, whiteflies, mealybugs, armored scales, lepidoptera, and certain stages of soft scales under relatively exposed conditions. A wide variety of ornamental and flowering plants was tolerant to insecticidal concns. of parathion. No adverse effects were noted to when reasonable precautions were taken with the spray applications. Keywords
