Abstract
We study the inverse problem of determining the single coefficient p of the linear hyperbolic equation in n-dimensional space from impulsive reflection data. It is shown that p can be uniquely determined when it is subject to certain a priori constraints and the reflection data is independent of horizontal variablesKeywords
