Abstract
Planning—whether planning one's work as a pediatrician, planning a career in pediatrics, or planning for the health care of the population—requires insight into the way pediatricians spend their time. Even in the clinical practice of pediatrics, work patterns vary widely according to the needs and facilities of the community and the goals of the individual practitioner. This outline can be a starting point for comparison with one's own work pattern. Keywords
