Abstract
Data from hybrid kernel samples taken throughout the corn belt area of Missouri show that Fusarium moniliforme and F. moniliforme var. subglutinans are the internal fungi that predominate in Zea mays in the state. Results of the study also indicate that differences in hybrids and environmental conditions significantly affect the number of kernels that become colonized. Keywords
