Abstract
Summary: Details of a countercurrent extraction procedure for the quantitative separation of the oxidized and unoxidized fractions of autoxidized fatty acid esters is described. The utility of the process is demonstrated by the quantitative separation of the oxidized from the unoxidized fractions of autoxidized methyl linoleate, linolenate, and oleate. Keywords
