Abstract
Field studies of adult Ae. triseriatus to detect La Crosse encephalitis virus are hampered by the presence of a closely related but nonvector mosquito, Aedes hendersoni. The technique herein developed unambiguously distinguishes the 2 species using polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The possible extension of this technique to other mosquito groups is discussed. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
