Abstract
The origin of high-energy cosmic electrons is considered. It is found that electrons of energies GeV could have been produced by local supernovae associated with known radio remnants. At higher energies, observations of muon-poor air showers indicate the existence of electrons at GeV which may have originated entirely from the supernova Vela X.
