Abstract
Ox and rabbit cornea are high in ascorbic acid. The concn. is highest in the corneal epithelium, that in the corneal stroma is equal to that in aqueous humor. The corneal endothelium is permeable to ascorbic-acid. Concn. in cornea falls after injury with BB''-dichloro-diethyl sulphide and was very low in one case of cataract in a rabbit. Keywords
