Abstract
The infrared spectrum of ice IV has been recorded in the range 4000–400 cm−1. The location and breadth of the bands confirm that the water molecules in ice IV are moderately strongly hydrogen bonded, as they are in the other phases of ice, and are orientationally disordered. Keywords
