Abstract
A case of relapsing panniculitis (Weber-Christian Disease) which appeared to respond dramatically to both cortisone and ACTH is reported. Several exacerbations and remissions were precipitated over a period of 2.5 years by respectively withholding and administering the steroids. Literature on this disease is briefly reviewed. It is suggested that the results of such therapy indicate that this disease is an antigen antibody reaction which may be precipitated by bacterial, viral or even chemical factors. Keywords
