A next-to-leading order analysis of Deeply Virtual Compton Scattering
Abstract
We present a complete, next-to-leading-order (NLO), leading-twist QCD analysis of deeply virtual Compton scattering (DVCS) observables, in the ${\bar {MS}}$ scheme, and in the kinematic range of the H1, ZEUS and HERMES experiments. We give predictions for the azimuthal angle and single spin asymmetries as well as the photon level cross section and compare to available data. We use two different sets of input models for the generalized parton distributions in order to study the sensitivity of the predictions to the choice of input.
