Gravitational Aharonov-Bohm effect in three dimensions

Abstract
We examine the effects of parallel transport of spinors and vectors around the known pointlike solutions of three-dimensional gravity. We point out that the massive, zero-spin solution corresponds, when suitably embedded in four dimensions, to a cosmic string.Keywords
