A Model for the Deterioration in Strength of Materials Due to Fungal Attack

Abstract
A general mathematical model giving the loss of strength is described as well as some special forms. These models are of use in analyzing and planning experiments. An example is given of an application to the loss of tensile strength of cotton duck fabric due to attack by test fungus Chaetomium globosum.
