Abstract
The authors study the self-correlation function for the diffusion of an interstitial in a lattice with defects. They obtain the effective diffusion constant in the case of no drift. The thermally averaged self-correlation function and the incoherent scattering law are investigated for linear models with different types of periodic defects. Keywords
