Abstract
We report an eight‐nucleotide duplication in intron 4 of the MICB allele 01021, which was found in samples from different ethnic backgrounds and in association with several HLA‐B alleles. We suggest that this new MICB allele is evolutionarily older than HLA‐B alleles. Keywords
