Abstract
We have detected coherence in a superposition of excited states by collecting photoelectrons. The superposition state is prepared by one laser pulse, and the photoelectrons are produced by a delayed laser pulse. We have described the experiment by the extension of a simple model and found the agreement with the data to be quite good. Keywords
