Abstract
The lutropin receptor is a member of the superfamily of G protein‐coupled receptors and, in humans, binds two closely related ligands, members of the heterodimer glycoprotein hormone family. As reviewed herein, comparative analyses of natural, engineered, and computer‐simulated mutations of the lutropin receptor have provided considerable insight into the molecular basis of receptor function. Keywords
