Abstract
We consider a plasma which, in zero order, is static, spatially uniform, and infinite in extent and with no external electric or magnetic fields. Exact relativistic Fokker-Planck coefficients are obtained by a solution of the first-order coupled integral equations for the particle and oscillator pair correlation functions. The solution is by a generalization of the method of Lenard and Balescu. The resulting coefficients have contributions from both Coulomb interactions and from interactions via transverse electromagnetic fields. Keywords
