Abstract
In non-immunized guinea pigs given diphtheria toxin, cortisone did not affect development of positive Schick reactions; did not prevent death, significantly increase survival time, or prevent adrenal hemorrhages; did not interfere with the protective action of diphtheria antitoxin; and had no direct neutralizing effect on diphtheria toxin in vitro. Keywords
