Abstract
The chinchona alkaloid quinidine is used as a drug for the treatment of cardiac arrythmia. Several metabolites of quinidine in man have previously been isolated and characterized, but the structure of only one of them was established. One of the main metabolites, previously considered to be 6''-hydroxyquinidine is now demonstrated to have a different structure. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
