Abstract
Standard agglutination tests for detecting antibody to B. abortus were modified by addition of chelating agents (EDTA and EGTA [ethylene glycol tetraacetic acid]) to the antigens. Approximately 80% of singleton agglutination test reactions, negative on the diagnostic complement fixation test, obtained with cattle sera were eliminated while no decrease in titer was apparent when sera from B. abortus infected or vaccinated cattle were tested. This publication has 17 references indexed in Scilit:
