Abstract
A test group of rats on a diet in which the fat of the control group was replaced by a synthetic one, each molecule of which contained one molecule of dihydroxy-stearic acid and two of the fatty acids in the control fat, gave external evidence of blood loss and suffered extensive internal hemorrhage, a situation resembling vit. K deficiency. The deficiency could be cured by adm. of 2-methyl-1,4-naphthoquinone.This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
