Abstract
X-ray-transmission measurements have been performed and the diffraction patterns using Ag and Mo radiation have been determined for liquid rubidium at 40 and 90°C and for liquid cesium at 65 and 100°C, respectively. A new sample holder has been used. The structure factors do not agree very well with measurements of neutron diffraction, but there is good agreement with the x-ray pattern of Huijben et al. in the case of Cs.
