Abstract
In Illinois over a five year period the cold dipped, corrugated paper band (Powdered beta naphthol―1 lb., 200-300 seconds viscosity oil―1½ pints, gasoline―1 pint) has been as effective in stopping codling moth (Carpocapsa pomonella) emergence as the hot dipped band. The cold band has advantages as to uniformity of deposit, fire hazard and ease of preparation. New cold dipped formulae of high efficiency are given. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
